Studio Policies
At The Pottery Studio by Magpie Ceramics, we’re committed to creating a welcoming, creative, and safe environment for everyone. Whether you’re joining us for a single workshop or a full session of classes, these policies will help you know what to expect so you can make the most of your time at the studio in a safe manner.
After Your Class
Project Pickup: Finished pieces will be bisque-fired, glazed, and re-fired by our staff. Work will be ready for pickup at the studio approximately 3–4 weeks after your workshop, during Open Studio hours. Please notify the studio if you require alternative pickup arrangements.
Registration & Payment
Pre-Registration Required – All participants must register online through our website or in person at the studio prior to the class or workshop. Walk-ins are not guaranteed a spot but calling ahead will help.
Payment Policy – Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your spot.
Before You Arrive
Arrival Time – Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, find your spot, and get settled. Late arrivals may miss important safety and instructional information.
What to Wear – All tools, clay, and aprons are provided. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting messy and closed-toe shoes. Tie back long hair and remove jewelry before working with clay.
Cancellations by Participant: Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the workshop will receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 48 hours.
Cancellations by Studio: In the event of cancellation by the studio due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
